Adding a 3D map page

To view the new 3D Map display, we recommend you add a new page to your layout configuration.

The easiest way to get started is to use the 3D Fly-through command in the context menu for a track or a route. If you don't already have a 3D Map item in your layout, this will add one on a new page.

Alternatively, you can add the page manually as follows:

1.Select Edit Layout in the Main Menu (top left)

2.Tap/Click the Pages button (top right)

3.Tap-and-hold/right-click on the current Screen (eg "Phone portrait")

4.Select Add Page to screen > Blank page

5.Tap/Click on the new "Empty Page" > Show page

6.Tap-and-hold/Right-click anywhere on the page

7.Select Maps > 3D Map

8.Drag the item to the top left of the screen using the drag handle and resize it to fill the screen using the Resize handle

9.Tap/click Done (top left)

You might want to add the 3D page to the Landscape screen, as well as portrait. Each screen size/orientation has its own layout configuration.
